I have a passion for the natural environment and I also experiment with macro work. Using a macro lens in both nature and inanimate objects.
I feel that I am a unique and original artist, with an eye for nature, I am based in the UK.
I have been a part of DeviantART for many years so far, and I will continue to be a part of it so long as people like my work.
I am married and currently living in England. Though I am originally from Wales.
I grew up in the countryside, a lot of what you see in my gallery are images taken from the past 12 years of me being a photographer. I am self taught, I was given cameras at a young age to experiment with.
I was lucky enough to have my first Digital SLR at 17, and since then, I have gone from film to digital, and loved experimenting with macro.
I really try not to Photoshop my images, the colours you see on the macro and natural works of art are 99% NATURAL and not enhanced by me. I do have (on my camera I use for landscapes and sunsets) a polariser filter
which reduces light glare and enhances contrast in colours.
Photoshop is a great tool, the most I will do to an image is perhaps brighten it or darken it, if I was unlucky in my exposures. Sometimes nature can be tricky with light, I need to use a contrast or a brighten to restore the photograph to how I saw it with my eyes. And I obviously add my copyright to each image also.
