I love B&Ws of railroads, railroad bridges, etc. I particularly like this one since the picture wasn't taken on 'top' of the tracks. Rather, off to the side and pointed down at a bit of an angle.

Nice picture, Sabrina.

Most welcome!

I usually try to provide a little more than: "Nice!" *laughs* And, likewise, I appreciate when people take the time to actually look at my pictures too!

As for the other picture, I'll have to swing by and take a look! ^_^

Awesome! You should add that full view is a must and in addition, scroll downward slowly. :D

Makes me want to get out to the tracks here and snap a few. It's been awhile :)

I can't describe it but this one has a very sad feeling to me. And I immediately thought of WWII (don't know why ^^;) Very nice picture though and good choice by putting it in B&W it really helps to capture the mood.

I like this perspective!! it adds a lot to the image!! my suggestion to this would be to add a bit of contrast with curves!! :)

I like the lines and composition on this shot. Somehow, B&W just suits this better (The tracks are just nostalgic). Nice capture!

We have a railway about 600 meters away too. That's for transporting oil. Few trains per day.

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures taken, but it's equivalent to [link]

Usually about 30 wagons are delivered to/from the base about 1.5 kilometers away. Sometimes there can be even more than 60 wagons.
