Description

I have revisted some places during the winter of 2009 where I am fond of making my landscape images. Trying to take the same environment at varying times of the year.

Here is my visit back to the 'old dead tree', if you like this then please check out my gallery to see the summer and autumn versions :)

9/10 trees this age are hollow. I have worked on farms all my life and seen a lot of these trees thay start to rot in the center of the tree way before thay die and it never kills the tree the fungi only eats the dead wood. Everytime i see one i just have to stop and wonder what this tree has lived through. Very humbaling
